Visiting Govardhana and Varshana

Few days go arrived in Vrindavana a devotee from South America and asked me to show him the holy places around Govardhana e Varshana.

With other devotees we happily went.

The other day we visited Govardhana, yesterday Varshana.

These are the wonderful places visited:
First we went to Harideva Mandira, where traditionally parikrama should be started. According to the local pujaris, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu rested here one night. We payed obeisances to the small room.We stopped at the magnificent Manasi Ganga, produced by the mind of Lord Krishna to not having to loose his father Nanda Maharaja?s association for some time. We told various transcendental stories happened there, like the amusing boat pastime.

Then we visited Govardhana-grama and offered obeisances to other important places like Dana-nivartana-kunda and Aniyora.
We stopped in Govinda-kunda and told how in this spot Indra offered abhisheka to Sri Krishna.

Then we went to Puncari and visited wonderful Apsara-kunda (the liquid form of Sri Radha and of the Gopis) and Navala-kunda.

From there we proceeded to the nearby rasa-sthali and visited the cave of Raghava Pandita.

A local sadhu told us that the real Raghava-gupha is not there but near Apsara-kunda.
We stopped in Jatipura (Madhavendra Puri?s town) and the precise place (according to the followers of Vallabhacarya) where Lord Krishna lifted Govardhana.
According to Gaudiya Vaishnavas the place is on the other side of Govardhana.
Then we went to take prasadam to beautiful Iskcon Govardhana.Afterwards we visited Uddhava Kunda. Then we were so fortunate to be admited to the most sacred place of all, Radha-kunda and Syamakunda.

We visited the many samadhis and kutiras of our spiritual mothers and fathers, like Srimati Jahnava-devi, Raghunatha Dasa Gosvami, Srila Krishnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami and others. For the many more details, come back on Isvara.org.The following day we went to Varshana, where Srimati Radharani lived.

In another kalpa (according to some authorities of the Kumara Sampradaya) Srimati Radhika appeared there, where the staircase leading to Vrishabhanu Maharaja?s palace begins. We actually begun to Sankari-khor, where the Gopis taught a good lesson to Krshna and the Gopas.

We then prceeded to Ciksauli, the village of Gopi Citra. We climbed the hill up to Mor Kutir (also called Mayur Kutir), where Radha and Krishna danced in form of peacock and female peacock and visited wonderful Man-garh, where Sri Radha manifested Her anger (man) to Sri Krishna.

The devotees who live there are very nice sadhus.

From there to Dan-garh and the palace of Radharani, where hundreds of enthusiastc devotees waited for the gates opening.

From Maharaja Vrishabhanu?s palace you can see all of Varshana. We also visited Premasarovara, Sanket and payed form distance obeisances to Nanda-gram.

We wanted to also visit Vrinda-kunja but it wat too late.

We have been happy to visit the Lord?s abodes.

Sorry but for the time being I can?t write more.
